If you have never ordered one of these before: it is a self-contained, freestanding restroom about four feet square and seven and a half feet tall, with a waste tank underneath, a urinal on the side wall and a translucent roof panel that lights the inside without needing power. Nothing plugs in. Nothing hooks up. The truck sets it down where you point and that is the whole installation.
On a build site it is the default order. On an event it is what you put behind the food trailers and along the back fence. In both cases you want a couple more than feels necessary, because the difference between enough units and not quite enough is the difference between nobody noticing and everybody noticing.

Three things worth knowing before you book
No power, no water, no plumbing
The tank holds a deodorised charge of water and the vent stack does the rest. Put it on caliche, gravel, grass or a slab. The only thing we need is a path the delivery truck can reach without going through soft ground.
Serviced on a schedule you set
Standard is weekly: pump out, wash down, restock paper and sanitiser, top up the charge. Heavy jobs and hot months go twice a week. In an Austin August that is worth doing whether or not the numbers say so.
Priced as one number
Delivery, the rental period, servicing, restocking and pickup, quoted together. If the job runs long you tell us and we extend it; nothing appears on an invoice that was not discussed on the phone.

About this unit
How do I size a standard-unit order for a crowd or a crew?
For an event, about one unit per hundred guests over four hours, plus roughly a quarter more if drinks are served because people go more often. A build site is a different calculation entirely — one unit per ten workers on a normal week, because the load is steady rather than a short peak. Call with the real numbers and we will size it with you rather than rounding up to sell an extra unit.
Does it need power or water on site?
Neither. It arrives charged and self-contained. That is the whole reason it works on a raw pad off Ronald Reagan Boulevard or a field in Garfield where nothing has been run yet.
What is the service rhythm on a standard unit?
Weekly on a standard rental. We pump the tank, wash the interior, restock paper and hand sanitiser and recharge the water. Twice-weekly is common on busy build sites and through the summer, and it is a small step up in price.
Can it go on a slope or on gravel?
Gravel and caliche are ideal. A mild slope is fine. Anything steeper than a gentle grade wants a leveled pad or a couple of boards, because a unit that is not sitting square does not seal properly and does not feel safe to use.
What is inside it?
A bench seat over the tank, a urinal on the wall, a paper holder, a coat hook, a vent stack and an occupied-side latch. Hand sanitiser is standard. A sink is not - that is the hand-wash station, which parks alongside.
How short can a rental in Central Texas be?
A week is the usual minimum, but weekend event rates exist and long jobs go on a monthly rate that works out well below the weekly equivalent.
